Economically Heating (& Insulating) a Greenhouse

Heating the greenhouse is a 'h₂ot' topic this winter (probably most winters). I've copied some of the e-mails that we've been passing around:
       1.What is the best (and most economical) way to heat my greenhouse?
       2.A low power, inexpensive, heater solution?
       3.What material to use to insulate the base of the greenhouse that won't rot? R-board?
