- Is treated wood safe for planter boxes, greenhouse foundations next to vegetables, etc..
Answer - Copper, Chromium and Arsenic are used to treat wood. In normal soil very little leaches
out and it is unlikely that it would hurt you. See the links below for a thorough discussion.
